K&L Gates Expands IP Litigation Practice with San Francisco Partner Addition

San Francisco - The San Francisco office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Shane Brun as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice. He joins K&L Gates from Morrison & Foerster LLP.
Brun has extensive experience representing major technology companies in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation, particularly patent litigation and infringement matters. As counsel to leading international semiconductor equipment, chip and consumer electronics manufacturers, he has litigated cases involving microlithography, plasma display technologies, and optical alignment and inspection systems. Brun’s experience also includes conducting IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and the formation of strategic partnerships, and negotiating commercial agreements securing clients’ intellectual property rights.
