K&L Gates Advises Polish Treasury on $2.7 Billion Insurance Company IPO, Central Europe’s Largest Ever

Warsaw- A team of lawyers from the Warsaw, London, and New York offices of global law firm K&L Gates LLP has successfully represented the Minister of the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland in its role as selling stockholder in Central Europe’s largest Initial Public Offering ever and the largest in all of Europe since December 2007. The $2.7 billion IPO of Central European insurance company PZU SA comes only two months after the establishment of K&L Gates’ Warsaw office, the firm’s 36th office worldwide.
