This seminar will include a presentation by Christina Cudworth, Global Head of Sustainability at the IPD, covering issues such as the link between sustainability and financial performance and sustainability as part of the valuation process. In addition, lawyers from our real estate/construction department will look again at the sustainability agenda and how it continues to impact on real estate businesses, with a focus on "green leases" and important upcoming regulatory deadlines. This session is recommended for those of you involved in managing, occupying, leasing, financing, developing and buying and selling real estate, providing an opportunity to network with fellow delegates and question our lawyers and guest speaker.

Topics will include:

  • An introduction to the IPD's sustainability index and sustainability initiatives.
  • Green Leases — just what is the position right now and what about those important upcoming regulatory deadlines, such as September 30 deadline for CRC?
  • Real Estate — The Climate Change Agenda.
