During this presentation, participants will learn about the various new programs that The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is implementing or contemplating that will transform the face of Medicare, the largest health insurance program in America. This will include the use of health information technology as the first critical step in health care reform, competitive bidding in durable medical equipment, the implementation and effect of recovery audit contractors and Medicare Administrative Contractors in the Medicare realm, and the current landscape of Medicare in the new health care reform world.
